There is a host of outstanding 18 hole golf courses within a 30 minute drive 2 of which are within 1.5 km to the villa

The villa is well placed to local restaurants and bars .

lo Romero known as the golf island of the Spanish levante and Las colinas an upmarket country club 18 hole golf course .

Alicante Airport is a approximately 55 minutes  drive and Covera Airport is 50 mins transfer time . There are no  holiday companies that operate in this area . There is a mix of nationalties , and both holiday and residential lettings in the village , there is regular local entertainment which promotes an good atmosphere all year round .

There is also a number of beaches including the mud baths of the mar menor people travel from all over the world to bathe naturally .

There is a local bus that will take you to Pilar and the beach , however should you wish to explore the area car hire is a must or taxis is essential .
lo rufete is open all year round and is a 20 minute drive it offers horse riding, kayaking, paint balling etc .

You can also play padel at Pilar leisure centre (very cheaply if you pay one off annual membership – €50 this year) by mercadona or padel select at manolos mar bar in mil palmeras. Both padel place and padel selected run a pay and play most mornings so you can turn up for a couple of hours and play with different people for about €6. There are also a few local Ca, powered informal groups who play at different times and days in the week.
